ART I
No prerequisite. Half year class worth half a credit.
This class is designed to adjust for a variety of skill levels; from NO
previous art experience to years of experience. Students whom
transfer from another school with art credit and students whom
have taken private lessons, are still encouraged to start this program,
with this class. Art curriculum is different in every school and
program, therefore to ensure success here at PHS this class is
prerequisite to all art classes. Don't think of this as just an Intro level
class, but as a class to develop drawing skills, of which no artist can
ever have to much.
Fee $10: includes - 6B graphite pencil, Mars Plastic Eraser, Double
ended Blending Stump, 8.5 x 11 inch Sketch Book 30 sheets, Double
tip Sharpie, 6B Charcoal Pencil, White Charcoal Pencil. If listed
supplies are lost, it is the students responsibility to replace item.

1st QUARTER -
Like any skill... The more you practice, the better you get. Do your
homework weekly as scheduled, set a personal goal to improve
upon last weeks HW. I promise you, you will notice an
improvement!!!...
BUT, you must help me to help you. If you don't give
anything, don't expect anything. Success doesn't come
to you, you must go to it.
