ART HISTORY - WORLD TRAVEL - HIGH SCHOOL ELECTIVE CREDIT

International travel...
is one way to truly bring your student’s classroom to life, offer them a better understanding of the world, enable them to build self-confidence and develop 21st Century skills and earn HS credit.  Phoenix Art Department has been traveling internationally with students since 2003.
These trips take place over Spring Break each year :-)

These trips are not Phoenix Talent School District Sponsored Trips.  PHS ART Club travels through EF educational tours OR Explorica for planning, insurance and great itineraries!

~ Whichever happens to be cheaper and offer the best options ;-)

PHS offers proficiency credit for approved coursework completed before, during and after the tour.

For over 50 years EF has been committed to the safety of our groups. With a team of more than 43,000 EF personnel around the globe, we have a presence in nearly every destination we travel to—ensuring that we’re there to support you wherever and whenever you need us.
Explorica takes every precaution possible to ensure the safety of you and your group. With more than 17 years' experience organizing trips to all seven continents, and an additional 50 years of collective experience provided by our partnership with WorldStrides, we have cultivated the resources that makes us an industry leader in safety.

Congratulations to the students who participated and thank you everyone who donated time for the Drive one Fundraiser in 2016.  Students raised over $700 total towards two different up coming trips.

10 days - Spring Break 2024
Costa Rica   From volcanoes to the coastal dry forest, Costa Rica's natural beauty is awe-inspiring.  Relaxing in therapeutic hot springs, zipping through a forest canopy filled with monkeys and macaws, hiking to La Fortuna Waterfall, your students will marvel at Costa Rica’s natural beauty and amazing biodiversity. Seeing it firsthand will inspire a lasting respect for the environment.
